From cake sales, to triathlons, to trekking up the mighty Mount Kilimanjaro, this year your actions have helped us raise vital income to ensure that we can continue with our fight against poverty.

The money that you raise ensures that we can continue to send volunteers overseas to share their skills with some of the poorest communities around the world. So...... from all of us at VSO we want to say thank you!
Some examples of what our amazing fundraisers have been up to!
- Jennifer Hall – raised £3,499 for VSO, by setting up a JustGiving page, holding a Celidh and asking her church for a donation.
- Patricia Rose - raised £989 for VSO, by holding a cake sale at work, a brunch (with her infamous Canadian pancakes) for friends and family and by setting up a JustGiving page
- Paul Gurney - raised a whopping £30,943 for VSO, by racing 600km to the North Pole and running 260km in the Saharan desert!
- Paul Jennings raised - £1982 for VSO by asking friends and family to suggest acts of kindness for him to fulfil to the unsuspecting public of central London – he can be found as VSO man on You Tube!
- Peter Sedgwick raised - £1,413 for VSO by walking 75 miles of Offa’s Dyke in 4 days.
- Thomas Fennerty - £2,905 for VSO by cycling solo the Tour de France route
- Phil Heywood – A whopping £18,861 for VSO by skiing to the North Pole
- Austin Jarrett – raised £3,754 by running the Marathon des Sable
