Will you help girls escape poverty?

Every day a girl is out of school she is at risk of forced marriage and domestic abuse. VSO expert volunteers are empowering girls back into education. They receive tailored support, as do their families and teachers.

VSO reached 3.6 million people last year, supporting their right to education. But there are many more girls we need to protect.

Will you be part of the change you want to see? Donate today and help girls build brighter futures.

Girls have the right to learn, but 1 in 3 have never stepped foot in the classroom*.

Help a vulnerable girl who is missing out on an education.

Izna** was born deaf and has lived a deeply isolated life. Even though she is bright and eager to work, she was forced to be at home, cooking, cleaning and feeding the cattle. Her family couldn't afford to support her needs. With no teacher equipped to communicate or teach her, Izna made up her own signs. She was unable to communicate with anyone outside of her family.

Things CAN change. Stand with a girl today.

Thanks to VSO supporters, Izna is now attending classes to help vulnerable girls back into education. She was matched with a VSO volunteer “Big Sister” who is working with her on the alphabet, writing and maths. Through engaging VSO-led classes and activities, Izna is no longer isolated having gained the skills and confidence she needs for a brighter future.

Please will you give a gift today to help more girls like Izna overcome discrimination and get the life-changing support and education they need for a brighter future?
