Will you help a vulnerable girl build a better future?
In Nepal, too many girls are forced out of school by poverty, child marriage, and domestic abuse. For girls with disabilities who face discrimination, the barriers are even greater. It's not right, but it CAN change.
VSO volunteers are unlocking the power of people to create lasting change. Working side by side with local teachers, families, and communities, they’re helping girls like Izna*, who is deaf, get back into education so no girl is left behind.
Last year, VSO helped 3.6 million people access the education they deserve. But there are still many more who need urgent support. Will you stand with them?
Donate today to be part of the change we all want to see.

Help vulnerable girls in Nepal who are missing out on an education
In Nepal, girls from poor families are forced to leave school early without completing their education. For as many as 1.3 million girls**, the next step is marriage. It’s not their choice. Sadly, girls with disabilities like Izna, can’t enrol in school at all due to discrimination and insufficient support to meet their needs.
Izna was born deaf and has lived a deeply isolated life. She was enrolled in a school but was forced to leave because her teachers couldn’t communicate with her. Even though she is bright and eager to learn, she was forced to stay at home, cooking, cleaning and feeding the cattle. With no one to teach her sign language, Izna made up her own signs, but she was unable to communicate with anyone outside her family.
Izna could have continued living in complete isolation, but thanks to supporters like you Izna is now attending a class designed to help girls back into education.
Will you help another girl like Izna receive the education she needs to build a better future?
